God's Simple Plan of Salvation

Can you know for sure where you are going when you die?

Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer. The question is: Are you Saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you are a church member, but are you Saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?

The bible does have the answer and here is what it says.

God says in order to go to Heaven, You must be born Again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born Again." In the bible God gives us the plan of how to be born Again which means to be Saved. His plan is simple! You can be Saved today. How?

God Wants you to understand who He is.

God is the Creator and He has Complete Rights To His Creation.

"The earth is the LORD's, and all its fullness, The world, and those who dwell therein." Psalms 24:1.

God has the right to do whatever He wants will all His Creation.
Do you acknowledge that God has Rightful Authority in Your Life?
God Created Mankind.

Man Is Accountable To God.

a. To Rule, over the earth. "The God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepth on the earth."" Genesis 1:26.

b. To Populate the earth. "Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth..."" Genesis 1:28.

c. To Obey his Creator. "And the LORD God took the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."" Genesis 2:16-17.

Man failed in his responsibility to obey his Creator.

"So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her; and he ate. Then the eyes of them were opened, and they knew that they were n aked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings." Genesis 3:6-7.

Adam was not deceived. "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression." 1 Timothy 2:14

The Consequences of Disobedience.

Three things happened when Adam sinned.

Adam and Eve died spiritually.

"but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Genesis 2:16-17.

Adam and Eve began their physical decent to death.

"So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died." Genesis 5:5.

Adam passed on his sin nature to every human through the seed of men.

Mankind is a two fold sinner, by birth and in individual participation.

"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin; and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned." Romans 5:12

"Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation;" Romans 5:18.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23.

We were Created in God's Image.

"So God created man in His Own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created he them." Genesis 1:27.

God the Father is the Decision Maker.
God the Son Performs the Work.
God the Holy Spirit Influences the Work.

Man has a soul by which he decided.
Man has a body by which he performs.
Man has a spirit by which he is influenced.

God wants you to understand where you stand with Him.

Who is good?

"As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one." Romans 3:10-12.

Who has sinned? Every living person is a Sinner and needs Salvation.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23.

"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin; and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned." Romans 5:12

“...God, be merciful to me a sinner." Luke 18:13.

“...For there is no one who does not sin...” 1 Kings 8:46.

"For there is not a just man on earth who does good, And does not sin." Ecclesiastes 7:20.

"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:6.

"but we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away." Isaiah 64:6.

What is the eternal cost of your sin? God says that He must punish sin.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Lord." Romans 6:23.

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men...” Romans 1:18.

"but the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14.

“...it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." Hebrews 9:27.

"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins." Ephesians 2:1.

"but each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death." James 1:14-15.

"behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father, As well as the soul of the son is Mine; the soul who sins shall die." Ezekiel 18:4.

You cannot save yourself.

The need, mankind's dilemma. Man, left to himself, is without hope. God has shown from the beginning of the sacrificial system that He requires a perfect sacrifice for sin. "A lamb without blemish and without spot." There must be a perfect, final, sacrifice for sin. A man must pay the price because it was a man who sinned. It must be a perfect, sinless man. Everyone born into this world is a sinner. All of mankind has inherited the sin nature from their father, Adam. Therefore no man is able to meet this high standard God requires. God provides Himself a Perfect Sacrifice for sin. That's why God came in the flesh as Jesus Christ, a Perfect, sinless man, who could pay the price for sin.

"Therefore by the deeds of the law, no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Romans 3:20.

"Where is boasting then? It is excluded. by what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith." Romans 3:27.

"but that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for the just shall live by faith." Galatians 3:11.

being good won't save you.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9.

"not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:5.

God wants to save you if you follow His instructions.

"...unless you repent you will all likewise perish." Luke 13:3.

"To Him all the prophets witness that through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins." Acts 10:43.

"What must I do to be Saved? believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." Acts 16:30-31.

"God commands all men everywhere to repent." Acts 17:30.

"but as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." John 1:12.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:17.

"He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:18.

"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 3:36.

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life." John 6:47. "but God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." Romans 5:8-9.

"Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." 1 Peter 1:18-19

You must place your complete faith in the Finished Work of Jesus Christ.

God sends His Son Jesus Christ through A Virgin birth. The Virgin birth Allowed A Man to be born Without A Sin Nature. "Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS... " Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?" And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God." Luke 1:30-35

Jesus, God's Son, Lived A Perfect Life Without Sin. Jesus asked His accusers to prove Him of sin. "Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?" John 8:46. Pilate, His Judge found no fault in Him. "...And when he (pilate) had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find no fault in Him at all."" John 18:38.

"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." John 6:37.

"Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" " John 11:25-26.

"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."" John 14:6.

"And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." John 20:30-31.

According to God's Word, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ whereby man can be Saved.
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12.
"testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts 20:21.
"Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" Romans 2:4.
"even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe..." Romans 3:22.

"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law." Romans 3:28.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ alone can save you? The bible states, "and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform." Romans 4:21.

Here is God's promise to you: "...to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," Romans 4:24-5:1

"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9.

"For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:10.

"For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."" Romans 10:13.

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17.

"...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2

"For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9.

"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:19-20.

Jesus had to shed His blood and die. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood...” Leviticus 17:11 "And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission." Hebrews 9:22.

How do you make a decision from the heart?
"For with the heart one believes unto righteousness..." Romans 10:10.
Your soul consists of three entities from which you base every decision.
Intellect - I need to surrender my life to God.
Emotions - I want to surrender my life to God.
Will - I will surrender my life to God.

So what is it that takes place when one believes on Jesus Christ?

You see, dear friend lost upon life's seas, the life boat is ready and waiting for you. Jesus Christ has done His part. He died for your sins.

This is where the Gospel of Jesus Christ becomes personal.
This is where you personally fit into the plan of the Gospel.
This is where the Gospel becomes more than a great story of God's love for mankind. It becomes a story of God's great love for you.

Four things happen when you Surrender and Accept Christ.

You are completely Forgiven and Delivered from your sin Debt. "blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered." Romans 4:7.
You are born Again by God's Spirit; You Now a Completed Person. "Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."" John 3:3.

The Holy Spirit Come to Reside Within You Forever. "...Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His." Romans 8:9.
You Have Just begun Your Eternal Existence. "He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." John 3:36.

How about you, will you pray and ask Jesus Christ to Forgive your sins and Save your soul?

Pray Now and ask our Lord Jesus Christ to save you!

If you will accept the Gospel and Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please pray this prayer with all of your heart.

Dear God our Heavenly Father, I come to you through faith acknowledging that I am a sinner, in need of a Savior. I know that I am not able to save myself. I have sinned. I come to you Lord and ask you to wash away my sins. I repent humbly of all my sins. I turn from my sins and put my faith in the blood you shed for me on the cross to pay for all my sins. I now accept and receive you Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior into my heart. I want to be your child. I accept by faith what your Word says in the Gospel and believe that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead through the power of the Holy Spirit. because He is alive forevermore, I too shall live forever in His presence. I trust you to take me to Heaven. I thank You for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of Salvation and Everlasting Life, because of your merciful Grace. Amen.

If you sincerely prayed the above prayer, you are now, born Again! John 3:3.
Do not trust your feelings. They change.
Stand on God's promises. They never change.

After you are Saved, there are three things to practice daily for Spiritual growth:

Pray - you talk to God,
Read your bible - God talks to you,
Witness - you talk for God.

You should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ as a public testimony of your salvation and then unite with a Fundamental bible believing Church without delay.

"Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord...” 2 Timothy 1:8.

"Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven." Matthew 10:32.

Salvation is a gift from God.
